All the commodity systems are operating under dynamics that are changing powerfully right now. These systems often signal developing cycle peaks and troughs up to a year in advance. There are already some clear signals.
Oil and gas commodities are in bull markets, but the conditions for a commodity super-cycle do not exist at present. This means that each commodity will undergo differentiated cycles with varying amplitudes and durations. What many in the markets expect to happen is not necessarily what will take place. There are many underlying (hidden) factors at work, and Western Canada presents both unique opportunities and risk.
There is a great deal of money to be made in the next few years, but these developing cycles will require participants to adapt and navigate as the future unfolds. One thing can be assured, the dynamics of profit making will definitely be in flux as we go.
